Aaron Charles Carter(December 7, 1987– November 5, 2022) was an American rapper, singer, and actor. He came to fame as a pop and hip hop singer in the late 1990s, establishing himself as a star among pre-teen and teenage audiences during the first years of the 21st centurwith his four studio albums.

Carter began performing at age seven and released his self-titled debut album in 1997 at age nine, selling a million copies worldwide. His second album Aaron's Party (Come Get It) (2000) sold three million copies in the United States, and Carter began making guest appearances on Nickelodeon and touring with the Backstreet Boys shortly after the record's release. Carter's next album, Oh Aaron, also went platinum, and the musician released what would be his last studio album for 16 years, Another Earthquake!, in 2002, followed by his 2003 Most Requested Hits collection.

Carter appeared on Dancing with the Stars, the Broadway musical Seussical, the off-Broadway musical The Fantasticks, and made several one-off performances. In 2014, he released a single featuring rapper Pat SoLo, "Ooh Wee". Carter released the single, "Fool's Gold", on April 1, 2016, and an EP titled LøVë in February 2017. His fifth studio album of the same name was released on February 16, 2018.

Childhood & Early Life

🔹Aaron Carter was born on December 7, 1987, in Tampa, Florida. His father’s name is Robert Gene Carter, and his mother’s name is Jane Elizabeth. He had four siblings, three sisters and one brother.

🔹He attended the Frank D. Miles Elementary School, as well as the Ruskin school in Florida. He had a great enthusiasm for music from an early age, and started his career at the tender age of seven.

Career 

🔹Aaron Carter began his career as the lead singer of ‘Dead End’ which was a local band formed by members of a rock school in Tampa. However, their interests conflicted as Carter was more interested in pop while the others preferred alternative rock. Therefore, Carter had to leave the band two years later.

🔹His first solo appearance was made when he was only nine years of age. It was an opening for the ‘Backstreet Boys’ in Berlin, which took place in March 1997. His first single ‘Crush on You’ was released the same year.


🔹On December 1, 1997, his self-titled debut album was released. It became quite popular in several European countries such as Norway, Spain, Denmark, as well as Germany. It was released in the US on June 16, 1998, where it was a great success as well.


🔹On September 26, 2000, his second album ‘Aaron’s Party (Come Get it)’ was released. It included several singles such as ‘I Want Candy’ ‘Aaron’s Party (Come Get it)’, and ‘That’s How I Beat Shaq.’ The songs were often aired on Disney and Nickelodeon.

🔹At the age of thirteen he released his third album ‘Oh Aaron’ in 2001. It found success, though not as much as his second album. It contained singles such as ‘Oh Aaron’ and ‘I am all about you.’

His next work ‘Another Earthquake’ was released in 2002. It was a mild success, though not as successful as his previous works. It also was Aaron’s final studio album under the label of Jive Records.

🔹After making a name for himself in the world of music, Aaron Carter also tried his luck in acting. He made guest appearances in several television programs such as ‘Lizzie McGuirie’ as well as ’48 Hours Mystery.’

🔹He joined ‘Dancing with the Stars’, an American dance competition TV series with his partner Karina Smirnoff in 2009. Though they were eliminated in November, they stood at fifth place.

🔹In January 2011, it was announced by Johnny Wright, Carter’s manager, that he was in a treatment facility for emotional and spiritual healing. He spent a month at a rehab center named Betty Ford Center in California after which he started performing normally again.

Melanie Martin, the ex-fiancee of Aaron Carter, has broken down in tears in a new video shared just hours after the rapper’s tragic death at 34.


The singer-turned-rapper was found dead inside his California home Saturday morning.


In the wake of the tragic news, Carter’s 30-year-old ex and mother to his son posted a two-second clip of herself crying on TikTok.


The mother-of-one was raw with emotion as she recorded herself while driving.

 Authorities called to singer’s home after reports a male had drowned


Authorities discovered the body of troubled former child star Aaron Carter in his LA home after an emergency call on Saturday morning.

Former child star, Aaron Carter, 34, has been found dead in his Los Angeles home, with police dispatched to the property following a call suggesting a male had drowned in the bathtub.

Following standard procedure, TMZ reports homicide detectives have been sent to Carter’s home, however there is currently no suggestion foul play was involved in his death.

Speaking to the New York Post, a LA police spokesman said deputies arrived at the residence at 10.58am and found a deceased person.

A representative for Carter also confirmed the news of the singer’s passing to Page Six.

“It is with great regret to confirm Aaron Carter was found unresponsive this a.m. in his home in Palmdale, CA,” they wrote.

“The family has been notified and will be flying out to Los Angeles. Aaron worked very hard towards the end of his life in recovery, to be a good father and to make amends with his family.”
